Mapper Fifth Row Options
The Mapper fifth row feature options are: Segment Column,
HL7 Button, and Show All button and the following
segment filed labels: Length, Write Out check box, Editable
check box, Key check box, Index check box, Display check box,
Field Rules and File Rules Click Boxes.
The Mapper Fifth Row is the most important area, it contains
advance and complex mapping features for user to do field
data manipulationand building interface logic from message
field level

Segment Column: This column
displays the first HL7 segments from the Mapper interface
message. The segment's fields and its sub-fields are loaded
into the work- area for selection. You click on the check
box to the left of the field to add that filed into your
interface template, you manipulate the filed data by using
the Mapper File Rules and Field Rules. Sub-sequence
HL7 message segment can be chosen by clicking on the down
arrow located to the right of this Segment Column

HL7 Button: Click on this
button allows you to access the Mapper HL7 message library.
You choose the HL7 segment(s) for your message from the
library left pane and move it to the right pane

Show All Button: When click
on this button, you can see all the selected HL7 segments
and fields of your interface template
Note: Save your Mapper Template first
befor viewing your Interface specification using the Show
All button .
