Mapper Third Row Options
The LINK Mapper third row feature options are: Input/ Output File Name, Directory and Format.The following describes functionalities of the INBOUND and OUTBOUND Interface on the second row options that influence the third row option configuration.

1. INBOUND
   • Input Column
     This Inbound Input column shows directory of the input file and file's name
   • Format Column
     The Inbound Input file format is selected from the drop down menu (HL7 or non-HL7)
   • Delimiter: Uses to specify the Inbound input file format delimiters
   • Output Column
     The Inbound Output directory is the directory of processed message from the input directory where vendor application can import from
   • Format Column
     The Inbound Output file format can be selected from the drop down menu (HL7 or non-HL7)
   • Delimiter: Uses to specify vendor Inbound output mesage delimiters
2. OUTBOUND
   • Input Column
     This Outbound Input column shows directory of the input message and file's name
   • Format Column
     The Outbound input file format is selected from the drop down menu (HL7 or non-HL7)
   • Delimiter: Uses to specify the Outbound input message delimiters
   • Output Column
     The Outbound output directory is the directory of message processed from the input directory
     Note: This is the directory where matched orders and resuts are output to before HL7 result message is created by the LINKMED® Interface Module
   • Format Column
     The Outbound output file format is selected from the drop down menu (HL7 or non-HL7)
   • Delimiter: Uses to specify the Outbound output message delimiters
   • Write Out: When checked every ADT/Order messages processed through this Mapper template will be written out to the output directory folder, if not checked the data will be processed into LT Interface interface intermediate database (apply to both Inbound and Outbound interface)
   • Don't Overwrite: This feature is used when the Global function on the Mapper is configured to output file with the same file name (Not to overwrite output file with the same name). LINKMED® interface Engine will automatically add extra characters to the output file's name if more than one file stays in the output directory folder or delay processing the message until vendor's application moves the existing file out from the output directory folder
