LINKMED® Interface Tutorial:
LINKMED® Message Mapper

LINKMED® Message Mapper

The LINK Mapper application enables you to create and modify your interface templates. These Mapper templates insert or extract ADT/Order information form the HL7 message that had been configured in the template and converts them to appropriate format that can be inserted to your system database. For example the Inbound Mapper is configured to convert HL7 to User delimiters and on the Outbound converts transcribed text report to HL7 message. LINKMED® IDK ships with several Mapper interface templates that are pre-configured for different HIS or clinical systems, additional HL7 segments or Fields can be added or modified using the LINKMED® Message Mapper application

LINKMED® Mapper features:

  • Native support for standard HL7 version 2.x and HL7 version 3 (when available), also supports other standard messaging format such as: XML, DICOM, ASTM, ASCII, CSV, NVP, SQL and user- defined.
  • Graphical user interface (GUI) allows user to visually learn its functionalities in order to create an interface template in a short time.
