LINKMED® HL7 Interface For Cardiac Cath Lab

A Bi-directional HL7 interface for Siemens CATHCOR® and Various Cath Lab Hemodynamic Monitors with Hospital Information System, Cardiology Information System and Radiology Information System
CATHLINK is a predefined, installable hemodynamic monitor interface that accepts input from various hemodynamic monitors and outputs one industry standard format regardless of the source.

CATHLINK
unites HL7 messaging, the ACC97 harvest elements, and LOINC standard vocabulary to capture the output from a hemodynamic monitor and create an industry standard formatted message that can be sent to HL7 compliant systems, such as a Hospital Information System (HIS) or a Cardiology Information System (CIS).

CATHLINK
is based on LINKMED®, a suite of software integration modules. CATHLINK includes the LINKMED® Interface Engine that restructures the data, LINKMED® Dynamic Mapper and the LINKMED® Transmitter which is designed to send standard HL7 format files to a shared directory or to a system capable of receiving HL7 transmissions via TCP/IP MLLP.

A core application is the LINKMED® Dynamic Mapper, which the end-user can take advantage of their hemodynamic monitor's configurability without incurring the expense of interface customization. LINKMED® Dynamic Mapper allows a user to map their site-specific hemodynamic elements to the appropriate ACC97/LOINC data elements provided within the standard with a point and click GUI environment.
