The Patient demographic
data in the LINKTools® Interface database can be
viewed on a workstation using LINKTools® database
viewer called LINKSelect.
Using the LINKSelect application user can selects an
ADT/Orders from LINKTools® Intermediate database
for downloading to Pulmonary Function Laboratory Systems.
Once the test
is completed, The Test Results is output form the PF
lab to LINK Interface Engine. The Output Data is reformatted
by LINKTools® Interface Engine into HL7 Result message(ORU)
and transmitted back to the HIS.
The PF lab users
utilize the LINKSelect application to view received
orders and select the desired patient to be imported
into the their PF System.
LINKSelect is
LINK Medical Windows® based software Application.
This Graphical User Interface allows user access to
Patient 's Order information stored in the LINKTools®
Intermediate Interface Database. A Lab technician initiates
the selection of a patient by choosing the LINKSelect
for PFLINK icon on the LINK Interface PC desktop. LINKSelect
displays the available Patient's Orders data in a tabular
or spreadsheet format
