Management System .
APLINK is a pre-defined HL7 Bi-directional
ADT/ORDER, ORDER Response, Result Reporting and Billing
interface fo r
NOVOVISION Anatomic Pathology Laboratory
Management System.
ADT/ORDER Response are transmitted from
the HIS to LINK and captured by the LINKTools®
TCP/IP
Receiver. The received
data is parsed directly to the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory
Management System database.
The AP Lab Management System creates an Order for specimen
submitted to the lab using the availibility of the Patient
ADT Information receive from the HIS.
The ORDER Message is then sent to the LINKTools®
Interface Engine where it is coverted to HL7 message
and sent to the HIS via the LINKTools® TCP/IP Transmitter.Upon
receipt of the Order Message the HIS generates an Order
Response Message(ORR) and Accession numbers for that
Order and send this Order Response Message back to the
AP Lab Management System.
Specimens Status , Lab Results Reporting ( Preliminary,
Finalized, Correction and Addendum) and Cancellation
HL7 Messages are sent to the HIS daily. Optional Billing
also available.
