Coming soon from LINK Medical Computing: A LINKTools OLE DB provider for interfacing HL7 compliant systems.

LINKTools TCP/IP Receiver

The Receiver will accept and acknowledge HL7 Messages coming in from an HIS or other HL7 compliant system via TCP/IP using the minimal lower level protocol (MLLP). The Receiver then creates a file that becomes the data source for the OLE DB Provider.

LINKTools OLE DB Provider

The provider is activated by an OLE DB Consumer created by the developer/user, a commercial OLE DB Consumer (e.g. Microsoft's DTS) or the OLE DB Consumer provided by LINK Medical.

OLE DB Consumer

OLE DB Consumer can place the HL7 data in a standard SQL 7 table. From there, users can query the data at will and insert or use the data as desired. It can use the data (in rows and columns) generated by the LINKTools HL7 OLE DB Provider as appropriate in the target application.
